Position Overview

We are looking for a self-starting individual with 3-10 years of Professional Services Marketing experience who has a demonstrated ability to identify, integrate and translate information from multiple sources into creative, engaging, client-focused materials.  As the firm’s sole marketing practitioner, the Marketing Manager leads, creates, and prepares all marketing activities in support of the external brand and business development activities. The successful candidate is committed to working across multiple levels in a deadline-driven and collaborative environment.

Candidates will preferably have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications or related field, with coursework/experience in graphic design, personal selling and/or public relations.
  • Experience with RFQ/RFP and interview preparation process (knowledge of architectural field is strongly preferred), including serving as point of contact on RFP requests.
  • Experience with designing, writing, producing, and printing a wide array of marketing collateral, including proposals, brochures, press releases, social media and web content.
  • Organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, delegating, and decision-making abilities, with excellent copywriting/editing skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong graphic design abilities and proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop), knowledge of media pitching process, and experience with website management within a CMS platform.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:

  • Through partnership with senior leadership, execute a comprehensive Marketing strategy across multiple channels, including business development, public relations, social/digital media and thought leadership
  • Create, coordinate, and produce accurate, compelling, and timely marketing content including proposals, presentations, brochures, e-blasts/newsletter, and project case studies, as well as website, blog, and other social/digital media postings
  • Stay up-to-to-date on regional RFP opportunities through networking and monitoring RFP resource sites
  • Represent Firm at industry networking events, trade shows and prebid meetings
  • Assist with the preparation of conferences, sponsorships and industry events
