Inside Sales

We’re looking for a motivated inside salesperson who is aligned with our mission to improve lives by advancing building envelope technology. Our innovations include energy efficient daylighting systems, dramatic kinetic façades, and a variety of unique cladding products.

We’ve been proudly manufacturing our translucent walls, windows, canopies and skylights in our Pittsburgh based facility for over 45 years.

As our company continues to grow, this position will provide a tremendous opportunity for the right individual who is comfortable working with Architects, Contractors and Building Owners.


  • Develop in-depth knowledge about EXTECH products and services.
  • Secure EXTECH product specifications with Architects, Designers and Specifiers.
  • Close profitable projects with General Contractors, Specialty Contractors and Building Owners.
  • Accurately document sales calls and opportunity information in EXTECH’s CRM system.
  • Perform all other assigned duties as required.

Preferred Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience.
  • Experience working with architects, engineers or contractors.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
  • General knowledge of terminology used in construction contracts and other documents.
  • 4-year degree, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Strong computer skills, ideally including MS Excel, MS Word, Power Point, MS Outlook.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) or ability to learn quickly.

Compensation: Base salary plus a commission on sales, with earning potential in the range of $50-$100k.
