About SMPS
The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) was created in 1973 by a small group of professional services firm leaders who recognized the need to sharpen skills, pool resources, and work together to create business opportunities. Today, the association has a membership of 6,000+ marketing and business development professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction, and specialty consulting firms located throughout the The SMPS Pittsburgh Chapter offers educational programs, professional development seminars and network opportunities to marketing professionals from architectural, engineering, planning, interior design, construction and consulting firms serving the
SMPS Pittsburgh offers three different types of programs that address the varied needs of our membership. 1. Luncheon Programs: typically held the third Wednesday of each month, address topics that provide members insight into what´s happening in the A/E/C industry, as well as invaluable networking opportunities. 2. Coordinator's Club Programs: typically held the fourth Thursday of each month, provide opportunities for entry-level marketers to learn more about marketing in the A/E/C industry and for experienced marketers to lead presentations, as well as invaluable networking opportunities. 3.
